Saw this blog post on InformationWeek.com about Target requiring you to allow the cashier to swipe your driver’s license when buying a restricted item, not just viewing it to make sure you’re “of age”?

Over on BusinessInsider.com, they have found an article about expanding lawsuits in our new massive healthcare “reform” bill.  Apparently lawyers will be able to sue on behalf of the government without having to get prior permission (in medicare reimbursement cases).

This provision may have been defeated, but therein lies the problem in these massive bills:

Really?  A V.A.T. on top of everything else here?  Cut the spending!!!!!  And I don’t mean the “lowering next years growth from an increase of 8% to only 6%”, I mean only spending 90% of what you spent this year.
